My Why, What Drives Me
My work is guided by a simple belief: impact is meaningful when it's context-driven and concrete. This belief stems from my upbringing and experiences.
As a proud child of Korean immigrants from Los Angeles and a first-generation career professional, the values of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of giving back has been ingrained me. Having benefited from the system as well as witness the betrayal of it, I am driven to help level the playing field, to use my skills for career empowerment and mutual economic mobility.
Whether building programs across borders or helping purpose-driven organizations thrive or showing up as a friend, in our rapidly changing world, interdependent care is needed more than ever.
Beyond Work
Work is one facet of who I am - a journey of its own in realizing. Beyond my professional life..
I am a proud mother, a sister, a partner, and friend who values relationships deeply.
I enjoy all things food whether it’s exploring new local spots, testing recipes or getting obsessed with the latest competitive cooking show.
I’m passionate about writing, mental health, and reflecting on the intersections that shape me.
I also believe in the power of fun and play!
Ultimately, I’m about connection - connecting people, ideas, and worlds to each other. I’m about embracing growth in myself and with others. And I believe in the transformative power of connection and strive to help make people’s lives a little bit easier.
